ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Texas

What time is it? BINGO TIME!!! We are looking for fun and energetic individuals to lead our seniors in a fun game of BINGO, here at Alamo Village, an affordable housing program for low-income families. BINGO is a fun and friendly competition that gets the heart pumping and everyone is out to do their best. Volunteering in this capacity will give our residents an opportunity to socialize and interact with each other and members of the community.

As our BINGO Leader you will instruct and demonstrate Bingo game rules to staff and residents. You will host BINGO games that are no more than two hours long per month, for at least three months. You are welcome to bring prizes for our residents that include, but are not limited to: cleaning supplies, personal care items, snacks, etc. This is an opportunity for individuals/groups/families who desire to interact with our residents in a fun and relaxed atmosphere while playing Bingo.

While Volunteers of America Texas has a number of needs and opportunities that we would like to address through volunteerism we do not always have the financial resources to purchase the materials and supplies for each project. For some projects we may ask that the volunteer group to provide the materials and supplies required. Volunteer/agency will need to provide any item needed for their presentation.
