We are looking for day-of-event volunteers for the 46th Annual Bean Bash, benefiting the Special Olympics of NKY, BAWAC, New Perceptions, and Redwood! This year's event will be held at the Boone County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 5. It will take many volunteers to help make this event a success, so please reach out if you are interested! This is a family-friendly event and volunteer opportunity, great for teens!
Volunteer Positions include:
- Clean-up/ Pack up/ Load out 4 PM - 6 PM
- Floating (help wherever needed) 2 shifts, 12 PM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 6 PM
- Food Service 2 shifts, 12 PM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 6 PM
- Parking attendants 2 shifts, 12 PM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 6 PM
- Selling split-the-pot and raffle tickets 2 shifts, 12 PM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 6 PM
- Silent Auction 12 PM - 5 PM
- Silent Auction Checkout 5 PM - 6 PM
- Event set-up/ Loading/ Unloading

Description
Redwood is a nonresidential day facility that provides 25 enriching programs in Educational Care, Adult Day Supports, Integrated Therapy, Vocational Day Training, and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care to over 800 children and adults facing some of life's great challenges.
At Redwood, individuals with severe and multiple disabiliities are taught to focus on their abilities, not their disabilities.
