ORGANIZATION: March Field Air Museum

  • 15 people are interested

Have you ever wanted to see behind the scenes of a museum? Are you looking for something to do over the summer? Do you like working with objects?

At the March Field Air Museum, we are in need of reliable volunteers to help work on managing our collection of artifacts. We have over 30,000 items, books, uniforms, etc. relating to the history of aviation, especially March Field. I am looking for someone who can be careful with the objects, have an appreciation of history or aviation, and enjoys learning.

The collections at March Field Air Museum have a wide range of objects, photographs, and documents. I strive to match projects to individuals' interests and these responsibilities include care of the objects, database entry, cataloguing, inventorying, research, and other tasks.
