We are looking for creative kite makers / kite flyers to join us at our annual JDRF One Walk. JDRF are the leaders in funding type 1 diabetes research. We have moved our walk to downtown Detroit! We will be stationed at Milliken State Park (next to the large hill).
With the large hill right on our walk site, we thought it would be cool to fly kites since the wind is always perfect on a hill near the river. We were hoping that our walk participants are able to participate in flying the kites as well. If possible, maybe even building their own kite and flying it!
