We're looking for happy, smiling, customer service oriented individuals to join our team at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop/Pleasanton. This individual will assist customers in selecting merchandise, help to stage and organize the sales floor, as well as perform cash register duties. Not only is this a fun, rewarding opportunity, you will make new friends and benefit your local community as well as the American Cancer Society along the way!

For over 50 years, the Society has owned and operated these specialty resale stores, featuring items such as clothing, accessories, jewelry, furniture, artwork, antiques, collectibles, and other household items.
Description
We are looking for volunteers for our American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Tacoma, Washington. Ideally, the volunteer will be available at least once per week, for 4 hours. Volunteer roles include accepting & sorting donations, preparing clothing donations, pricing, merchandising, register operations, customer service & more. We are looking for volunteers of all ages.
