A 58 year old woman living with ALS is looking for a female volunteer to help her in her apartment every other week for an hour or two. She would like the volunteer to clean, prepare freezer meals, and occasionally pick up groceries (volunteer will be reimbursed).

Description
What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
