The Housing After School Program provides a safe and active environment for participants. Program quality and establishing positive relationships with program participants and their families will be paramount. The most critical hours each day for school aged children is 3:00-6:00 p - you can help to provide a safe, creative and healthy experience for them!

Assist Housing staff with organizing and implementing age-appropriate recreational activities and homework help

  • Assist with the supervision of program participants
  • Maintain procedures that ensure the safety of volunteers, staff and children and the cleanliness of program areas
  • Participate in cleaning and maintaining the facilities and equipment
  • At all times, model, reinforce and abide by the Catholic Charities Volunteer Policies and Procedures

Description

Our office serves to connect volunteers with different opportunities across the valley. These opportunities serve our many different sites which work with different vulnerable populations including refugees, pregnant teens, and children in foster care.
