About

About

Join Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA Respite Services to give parents a much needed temporary break from day-to-day caregiving duties. We work with military & civilian families who have children with & without disabilities. Along with "Little Warriors"- children whose parents have been injured in war.

The Fun You Will Have:

As a volunteer, you would spend the day with a child during In-Center activities. ***Each month has a different theme

In-Center Respite-

We provide fun & educational activities between volunteers & the children at Easter Seals Inter-Generational Center in downtown Silver Spring one Saturday a month. At these events, the children will be able to unleash their imagination in a world of hands-on discovery with painting, drawing, sculpting, and other imaginative activities.

These respite services are a wonderful event for everyone involved! You and your matched child for the day will have a fabulous time & enjoy all the fun activities. You can feel like a kid again!

The Next Respite Event:

Saturday, May 13th, from 8:30am to 2:00pm and the theme will be "A Priate's Life for Us!"

Details:
