RSFIA is in need of a volunteer in the Avon/Albany area. We are seeking a volunteer to provide some respite care on a weekly basis for a gentleman while his wife gets a well deserved break. This gentleman is a very kind, pleasant man who happens to have a short memory span. While you are there you might spend time discussing shared interests, watching television, playing cards, going for walks- think of it like visiting a friend or family member!
We are looking for a weekly commitment, preferably on Thursdays from 3-5. This is a great way to give back locally!

Description
Our program volunteers serve seniors and people with difficult life situations living in the rural communities of Stearns County with the ultimate goal of keeping people in their homes as long as possible. We do this through offering transportation, homemaking, chore services, home modification/repair, friendly visiting, respite care, and the list goes on.
