The Malden Court Community Orchard - a project of Green Lents - is looking to expand our leadership team! A team of volunteers - the Orchard Team - organizes work parties, facilitates long-term projects, recruits volunteers and conducts community outreach. We are looking to build this team! This is a perfect position for someone passionate about gardening and community projects and is looking to build professional development skills.
The Malden Court Community Orchard is a young food forest with over 250 native and fruit-bearing plants. The goals, designs, and intentions of the orchard were created with neighborhood input. This is a space for growing and harvesting food, skill sharing, social gathering and community building. Check us out on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/MaldenCourtCommunityOrchard/?fref=ts
Green Lents (www.greenlents.org) is a nonprofit dedicated to providing leadership, education and volunteer opportunities - in and around Lents - to promote a sustainable and thriving community.
