At Aleph, we serve some of the most vulnerable populations: men and women who are institutionalized as well as youth who are incarcerated as a result of mental illness/addiction and their struggling families.
We need your help ensuring that no one feels alone or forgotten.
Just a bit of your valuable time can create a very positive and meaningful impact on the lives of people in desperate need. We hope that you join us in bringing hope to people who feel hopeless and bringing joy to people who feel depressed and alone.
There are many ways you can join the Aleph Institute in this work, no matter your schedule, location, skills or ability. Here are just a few of our volunteer opportunities:
Visiting prisons or mental institutions
Mentoring a teenager who is struggling with addiction and/or mental illness
Befriending a family member of an incarcerated prison
Writing questions for our correspondence courses we send to men and women who are institutionalized
Uploading MP3s with Torah content, educational lectures and uplifting music
Considering providing a critical 2nd chance by considering offering employment at your company (Aleph carefully screens potential candidates)
Performing administrative tasks and research remotely on various Aleph projects
If you are interested in any of these opportunities or have any further ideas for how you would like to volunteer, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
