Ralph Waldo Emerson - "The man who can make hard things easy is the educator." Come educate and tutor our residents at San Juan Village, an affordable housing program for low-income families. This is an opportunity to interact with clients and children in a relaxed environment. Volunteering in this capacity will help the children to succeed in school.
As a tutor in San Juan Village you are required to have experience tutoring children, and must be at least 20 years of age. You will be responsible for tutoring and helping the children living at the apartments with their school/homework. You’ll also assist adults who are searching for jobs with filling out job applications online. Your tutoring sessions will be no more than an hour long, once per week for at least three months.
