Have you ever wanted to meet and hang out with our rescued horses? Come join us for our "workday" open house. Every 2 months or so, we invite our community to come out and help us with a little lite work around the barn.
Barn work is physical in nature and we are outdoors. Please wear long sturdy pants and close-toed shoes or work boots. Bring/wear sunscreen or hats and water to stay hydrated. We have some gloves to borrow on property but you may wish to bring your own.
After work, you'll get to tour the property, meet each horse and hear their story!
Children under the age of 16 are allowed as long as they're supervised by an adult.
Please email: volunteer@ hanaeleh.org to sign up and get directions!(We keep our address private for the safety of our horses. Thanks for understanding.)

Hanaeleh is dedicated to rescuing abused, neglected and abandoned horses and rehabilitates them to new, loving forever homes. We advocate for equine welfare and work to end horse slaughter.
Description
Hanaeleh (pronounced Hah-nah-lee) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that operates out of Trabuco Canyon in Orange County, California. We promote horse advocacy and manage a social network for all who share an interest in horses-wild and domestic.
Hanaeleh is run solely by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us! We have several ways you can help with the horses and the facility. You do not need to have horse experience in order to volunteer.
If you would like to volunteer, please send an e-mail and include your level of horse experience. We welcome individuals of all ages and abilities to volunteer, although weekly volunteers must be 18 years or older to work with the horses directly.
