Are you passionate about education and interested in building optimism and college-ready confidence in struggling children and their families? Are you inspired by ACE’s focus on growth for everyone in our school communities? Come volunteer with ACE to support our students.
At ACE, our students make exceptional academic progress, and the longer they are at ACE, the faster they grow. As an organization, we are growing as well, we are going in to our 3rd year at ACE Franklin McKinley and we will have about 300 students in the 2016- '17 school year. 90% of our recruited students are below grade level in both reading and in math. We are looking for dedicated tutors to support our students in meeting their goals.

Mission Statement
ACE works with families and communities in the highest-need neighborhoods to create and sustain middle and high schools where students who have not been served well by the traditional school system grow to the point where they are ready, by the time they leave high school, to choose to attend and graduate from a four-year college or university. Our motto "Grow. Everyone. Every Day." is our expression of our conviction that everyone--not only those who are statistically more likely to succeed--will grow to personal and academic college readiness. It also underscores our sense of urgency--growth must happen every day, all day in order for our students to be prepared to successfully graduate from a four-year college. There is no time to waste, and for the ACE target students, their previous experience in school has often largely been wasted time.
Description
ACE isn’t your average charter school organization. ACE schools are designed from the ground up to serve the most underserved, disaffected stude nts (and their families) in San Jose’s most troubled neighborhoods.
ACE Charter Schools focuses on helping academically underserved students in high-need communities become in excited about their education and to improve their skills. We have three, 5th-8th grade middle schools and one High School.
