About

The United States National Committee (USNC) for UN Women is an independent non-profit, 501c3 organization that supports UN Women programs. These projects promote social, political, and economic equality for women and girls spanning 100 countries around the globe.

The Philadelphia Chapter is looking for writers to contribute content to our website's blog.

Perfect for any writer that's passionate about gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls globally.

Your articles will be posted on a high-traffic internationally recognized non-profit site with author credit and if you'd like, can include a link-back to your own site.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Expanding women’s leadership and political participation
  • Enhancing women’s economic empowerment
  • Ending violence against women
  • Fostering peace and security
  • Gender equality
  • Career advice
We're looking for writers that can commit to contributing 1 blog post/week. In addition, we need a volunteer to interview women-owned businesses in the Philadelphia area and write a monthly spotlight article sharing the founder's story and advice for readers. These positions are completely remote but we do hold monthly networking events and an annual film festival in Center City that we encourage you to attend.
