ORGANIZATION: THE IMMOKALEE FOUNDATION

The Immokalee Foundation matches volunteer mentors with at-risk middle and high school students in the Immokalee community, helping to make it possible for these students to reach academic and economic success. Mission Statement

Building Pathways to Success for the Children of Immokalee.

Description

The Immokalee Foundation transforms the lives of the students of Immokalee through educational programs that broaden their experiences and focus on building pathways to success. We offer academic preparation, mentoring and scholarship programs that provide hope and opportunities for our students. We empower students to graduate from high school and attend a postsecondary school or training and develop the life skills they will need to achieve economic independence. 100% of the students in our programs graduate from high school. 100% of them attend a college, university or other post-secondary training. We match volunteer adult mentors one-to-one with our students to provide support and encouragement and to share their own life experiences.
