Want to get involved with Girl Scouts but aren’t sure where to start? Perhaps you don’t have as much free time as you once had, but you’re passionate about Girl Scouts and would love to see its presence thrive in your area. As a community advocate, you can have a big hand in that by helping us tell the Girl Scout story and how it benefits girls at selected events in your community. This could include family festivals, school nights, or neighborhood block parties. Your special knowledge and touch ensures that girls have the opportunity to fully participate in Girl Scouting programs and activities.
Being a community advocate will fit into YOUR schedule! Girl Scouts will provide you with the trainings and tools you need to successfully talk to others about Girl Scouts at events. No prior Girl Scout experience or knowledge necessary-just passion and the drive to see girls excel!
