So many of our homebound seniors could not only use some socialization but also some help doing their laundry. Some have machines in their home, some in another location in their building, or some use a laundromat. The senior will pay for all expenses associated withthe laundry (machines, detergent, etc) Things that come so easy to us are so difficult for them so if you can donate 1 to 2 hours once a week to help them with laundry while doing a bit of socializing, please contact Suzanne Windland at 718 454-1200, ext 111

Mission Statement
Services Now for Adult Persons, Inc. has accepted the challenge of being dedicated to the needs of older adults. SNAP provides direct services to enhance their quality of life. We also provide coordination of case plans, advocacy and linkages to community resources to assist our clients and to prevent premature institutionalization
Description
Services Now for Adult Persons Volunteer program is two-fold.
1. We help active senior citizens find volunteer opportunities in the community.
2. We recruit any age volunteers to assist homebound and more frail senior citizens in their every day needs. From just having tea and chatting to shoveling snow, all volunteers are so welcome and so appreciated.
