About

Students from Europe and Asia will be traveling to Lee County for a language travel program. Volunteer host families provide a safe, welcoming environment, a bed for the student (they can share a room with a student their same gender and within 3 years age range), meals and transportation to a designated local bus stop. Local students can earn up to 60 community service hours!

Junior Program: Feb. 1 - Feb. 11 Chinese junior students, ages 9 - 14. Drop off in the morning at 8am and pick up at 5:30. Students are in class during the day and with host family nights and weekends.

International Program: July 14 - Aug. 8. Teens ages 12 - 18 go to class during the day and spend nights and weekends with host practicing their English and learning more about our culture. Students from China, Russia, France, Spain, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Italy and Germany! Great study opportunity for homeschool students, cultural opportunity for kids of all ages and for empty nesters who can be a American "mom and dad" to an excited youth from another country. Students are bilingual and generally academically advanced and from middle to upper class families.
