Workforce Pathways Coaches provide short-term individualized instruction and mentoring to adults enrolled in ESOL or Adult Basic Education classes who have employment goals and are looking for help with specific workforce skills. They work one-on-one with students seeking employment to improve basic workforce preparation skills (resume-building, interviewing skills, or filling out job applications) and help students learn how to navigate the job search process in the United States.
Bilingual skills and/or experience working with adult immigrants, refugees, or English language learners is strongly desired. The top 5 languages represented among our students are Amharic, Tigrinya, Spanish, Mandarin, and Somali, although combined our students speak over 60 languages.
