Be a companion for a terminally ill home patient. Give these patients the dignity and attention they deserve through consistent company and support. Volunteers provide much needed relief for a strained care giver. They allow a caregiver time to themselves to run errands, make appointments and do other acts of self care that refuel a tasked caregiver. These volunteers never provide any medical care, daily living care or housekeeping. You are literally a therapeutic presence and friend.
