One of NASRC's goal is to provide accurate, easy-to-access resources about natural refrigerants. When retailers like supermarkets and convenience store decide to build out a new location, or remodel an existing one, the most environmentally-friendly options are those types of equipment that use natural refrigerants like CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons; however, many retailers do not have any familarity with these technologies. NASRC is providing case studies, white papers, equipment specifications, conference presentations, etc. to our members and the public. We are looking for the help of a web developer to create a well-organized, searchable, user-friendly collection of the resources we have so far. What we have right now is available at: http://nasrc.org/about-this-library/
I look forward to hearing your ideas as so how we could build out this resource library more effectively, complete with meta data and all.

Our mission is to create a more sustainable future through natural refrigerants. In order to meet that objective, we have identified specific challenges within the retail food sector and mapped out a plan to tackle them. Our progress groups - open to all NASRC members - are putting those plans into action.
Description
The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council is an action-oriented nonprofit that wants to see natural refrigerants succeed, specifically in the grocery sector. In order for that to happen the public, government, engineers and end-users must come together with the refrigeration industry to tackle the unique set of challenges that natural refrigerants face here in North America. We’re working to show how natural refrigerants can be a win for the environment, and for business.
