The DEO Clinic depends on volunteers to provide free medical care and services to the uninsured and low income residents of Whitfield and Murray Counties. We typically need volunteers for the walk-in clinic on Monday and Thursday evenings (5:00 pm to 8:30 pm) and on days when specialists have appointments - usually 1 day a week (8:00 am to 12:30/1:00 pm). Most volunteers serve approximately 2 1/2 to 5 hours per month. We have opportunities for licensed medical professionals and for reception workers, social workers, grant writers, and translators (Spanish/English)
