at Pacific Conservatory Theatre/PCPA in Santa Maria

Concessions Assistant

  • ASSIST customers with purchases at the concessions stand before the theatrical performance and during intermission.

Skills

  • Hospitality/Communication: Maintain a welcoming attitude toward patrons while swiftly handling cash and credit/debit concessions sales in a concentrated time period. Work efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

Adult (over 18 years of age). Clean, well-groomed appearance according to dress code (black slacks or skirt, white shirt or blouse and red jacket or vest Pleasant attitude with good communication skills. Dependable and punctual.

Ability to: handle cash purchases swiftly and accurately; stand for 3 hours; follow all procedures and policies; provide at least two local references.

Description

For more than 50 years PCPA/Pacific Conservatory Theatre has presented exemplary theatre and provided excellent training with a resident company of theatre professionals. Begun in the summer of 1964, founder Donovan Marley laid the ground work for a year-round professional theatre company. PCPA remains the only resident professional company on the Central Coast producing consistent quality entertainment for the community while training thousands of actors and theatre technicians for a career in theatre.
