No experience needed for this fun volunteer opportunity where you will learn "some of the skills and tools of the trade" for building new homes within our mission. Learn what it takes to accumulate hours to earn the designation of "Dream Builder."
Volunteers have the opportunity to grab a hammer and build affordable housing along with working with our expert construction staff, experienced volunteers, and partner families.
You will learn what it takes to be successful and work safely.
Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday through Friday, from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to work on the building site and must be at least 18 years of age to use power tools and participate in roof work. A parental must be completed and submitted prior to volunteering for volunteers between the ages of 16-17.

Orientation or Training
4 hours minimium per shift,. We provide training and safety instruction at the beginning of each shift.
What to wear
• Clothes that may get stained by paint, tar or any other construction materials.
• Closed-toe, closed heal footwear for your protection. Work boots or thick sole sneakers are preferred.
• Pants: Jeans, Athletic pants and long sho
