HIGH IMPACT PEOPLE NEEDED! We dont have the resources or the staff to do everything needed to help the poor and homeless. High Impact People (HIP) are volunteers who help us accomplish important tasks. We work hard to provide flexible hours and place you in a department that youre excited about. Our Resource Center is open from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday and we need dedicated volunteers that can help us expand our work week and assist our community. We ask our HIPs to be able to work a regularly recurring schedule, at least 3 hours per week. We need HIPs in the following areas: resource center, pantry, clothing closet, GED, kitchen, donation center, and housing. As a HIP, you will be providing direct client services with a variety of duties including but not limited to, product inventory, replenishing clothing area, kitchen prep and serving line, after school tutoring, and behind the scene work as needed. If you are interested or have questions please contact our volunteer coordinator Stacey Wyman at 727-937-3268 ext. 1954 or directly at stacey.wyman@metromin.org. You can also attend a volunteer orientation. - http://www.metromin.org/volunteer/
