JOIN OUR LUNG FORCE WALK COMMITTEE

Our vision is a world free of lung disease. Will you join us?

Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of both women and men in the U.S., and every five minutes a woman in this country learns she has lung cancer. LUNG FORCE unites women and their loved ones across the country to stand together against lung cancer.

Join us to increase lung cancer awareness, promote research to beat this terrible disease, advocate for critical funding and fight for the lives of those affected by lung cancer. You are the power behind LUNG FORCE.

As a committee member, you will play an integral role in ensuring our LUNG FORCE Walk on Sunday, November 20 th is a huge success. Your involvement helps save lives.

Mission Statement

The mission of the American Lung Association in California is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

Description

The American Lung Association in California is the leading organization dedicated to fighting threats to lung health including asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tobacco, and air pollution.

We support basic and clinical research through training and "seed" grants for beginning researchers, advocate for stronger clean air and tobacco control policies at the local and state level, and serve communities throughout California by providing numerous education and support programs to help children and adults living with lung disease.
