Join us on Wednesday, June 19 th for Dragtivism, where we will learn how nonprofit organizations around the city have used drag to promote their missions in entertaining and eye-catching ways.

Costumes are encouraged for this event.

We are in need of three (3) volunteers to assist with program set-up, greeting and registering attendees, ushering and other program logistics. Volunteer shift is 6:00-9:30 pm but volunteers are welcome to work shorter shifts if desired.

Event is at Indiana Historical Society and parking will be provided.

Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana’s Storytellerâ„¢, connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving, interpreting and disseminating the state's history. A private, nonprofit membership organization, IHS maintains the nation's premier research library and archives on the history of Indiana and the Old Northwest. IHS also provides support and assistance to local museums and historical groups, publishes books and periodicals; sponsors teacher workshops; and provides youth, adult and family programming.

From interacting with our guest to working with our historic collections, IHS has a great volunteer opportunity that is right for you.
