Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer. Nearly twice as many women die of lung cancer as breast cancer. Nearly three times as many men die of lung cancer as prostate cancer.
LUNGevity Foundation is changing this reality. LUNGevity is the leading private funder of lung cancer research, education, and support in the United States. Learn all about us at www.LUNGevity.org.
We work with people like YOU in communities across the country to produce events to raise awareness and funding for lung cancer. We partner with YOU to create an event that is perfect for you and your community. We provide resources to help you plan and execute your event, including personal guidance, marketing, and online tools.
Our community volunteers have hosted all kinds of events - bake sales, walks and runs, car washes, bowl-a-thons, dance parties - to benefit LUNGevity. We've had volunteers scale Mount Everest, walk across Europe, and host motorcycle rallies. Our volunteers range from students looking for service learning experience to senior citizens looking to support a great cause... and everyone in between!
LUNGevity's mission is to increase the survivorship of lung cancer through research, eudcation, and support. And it's working! We've made enormous strides in our understanding, detection, and treatment of this disease... and all because people like YOU got involved! Come join our growing family of volunteers!

We look forward to partnering with you for this critical cause and this amazing organization. Here's to creating a world in which no one dies of lung cancer... one community at a time.
