We are currently seeking Pet Therapy Volunteers to join our volunteer team. The volunteer and their pet would visit Hospice patients in and around San Diego County in private homes, and Facilities where the patients reside. Description
LightBridge Hospice is an award winning hopsice, that is locally owned by an RN. LightBridge Hopice is proud of it's team, including our volunteers,that embrace a culture that nutures excellence. We provide a full complement of Integrative Therapies including Pet Therapy, Aroma Therapy, Healing Touch, Reiki, Healing Art, Music, and we are a certified center for the Music and Memory program for patients with Dementia. We have a Palliative Care Program. We are passionate about serving the unique needs of Veterans. Our team has acheived the prestigious Level Four of the We Honor Veterans Program, in partnership with the VA.
