Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Since it began in 1985, Relay For Life events have raised over $5 billion in the fight against cancer. Relay For Life is a team-oriented walk that celebrates survivors, remembers those that we have lost and fights back to help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
The Relay For Life of The Woodlands is seeking passionate volunteers to join the Event Leadership Team. This team plans and executes the Relay For Life event every spring at College Park High School.

Description
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event and it represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. The event is designed as a community engagement event and provides everyone in The Woodlands with an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.
Relay For Life happens all over the United States and in 19 countries around the globe making this the largest non-profit fundraising event in the world. Individuals from neighborhoods, businesses, or families gather together and form teams.
