The Diva DASH5K Run/Walk is a women-only 5K in which the participants are treated like divas! There is also a Lil’ Princess Kids Run...in which the participants get a tiara! This wonderful race will be held at The Muny in Forest Park on July 13th. Diva DASH is partnering with TREE House of Greater St. Louis to present this 5K. The mission of TREE House of Greater St. Louis is to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families through therapy, recreation, education, and exploration. We use equine-assisted therapy as the cornerstone of our program. Learn more at thstl.org.

July 13th, 2019: Forest Park, St. Louis Course Monitor, Packet Pick-up, Water Aid Station, Medals, Finish Line duties, Post Race Food, Awards and Results: various shifts depending upon assignment from 6:00am -9:30am

Description
Nestled on approximately 90 acres in St. Charles County, TREE House of Greater St. Louis is a unique and welcoming place where individuals with disabilities and their families can find acceptance, tackle mental and physical challenges, and express their spirit in a peaceful and natural setting.
Founded in 1975, and formerly known as Therapeutic Horsemanship, TREE House is one of the oldest and most respected PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Centers in the United States. Programs serve individuals from age 2 through adulthood who have physical, mental, emotional, social, and/or learning disabilities.
Disabilities served include, but are not limited to, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, mental and physical disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and more. TREE House operates year-round and relies heavily on the support of volunteers.
