Mission Statement
The mission of the Charles Allis and Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, which are jointly operated by a common leadership, is to fully utilize both museums, their gardens and their art collections for education and community enrichment.
Description
In 1947 Sarah Allis bequeathed her mansion and world class art collection that she, along with her husband Charles Allis built and collected. It has been a public institution ever since. Dedicated to the legacy of the Allis' along with promoting local, regional, and statewide artistic prouction, the museum holds three original art exhibitons a year as well as many community events including the annual Red Leaf Artoberfest in October.
