Volunteer Park Trust was founded in 2012 by friends and neighbors to restore, protect and preserve the city and national landmark of Seattle’s Volunteer Park for today and for generations to come.
Our Events Committee is now seeking new members. A fun, interesting, and effective group, the Events Committee organizes and publicizes Volunteer Park Trust activities to raise awareness of the work of the Trust and to create a sense of community. Our annual events include:
- April: Spring Restoration Day
- July: Picnic in the Park
- August & October: Park tours
- September: Fall Restoration Day
- December: Holiday in the Park
DATES / TIMES: The Events Committee generates and explores new ideas and always has lots to do. Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month from 5:00-6:00 pm, usually in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
