Advocate
The Advocate will raise and spread awareness about domestic violence and provide support to domestic violence victims.
Location: San Diego, CA
Hours: 5-10 hours per week
Responsibilities
Will provide information and resources on domestic violence including hotlines, shelters, counselors, etc.
Will educate and raise awareness to others about domestic violence.
Provide support, counseling, and resources to victims of domestic violence.
Maintain information and records confidential.
Requirements
Self-motivated, the ability to work independently.
Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
Prior experience in crisis support, counseling, degree in psychology, social work, etc. preferred.
- Must have completed 40 hours of Domestic Violence Training.
