Venture Outdoors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting everyone to the benefits of outdoor recreation throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. We provide a variety of activities that inspire an active lifestyle, promote the region’s unique amenities, highlight its excellent quality of life, and foster a greater appreciation for the environment. Venture Outdoors is seeking volunteer photographers and videographers to help document the experiences of participants during Venture Outdoors programs, outings, and events. Photographers and videographers will need to possess their own camera equipment and a way to forward Venture Outdoors photos or footage. All Photographers/Videographers will be given credit for their work if used in any Venture Outdoor campaign or advertisement.

Description
Venture Outdoors offers over 500 public programs each year to people of all ages, skills, and backgrounds. Our year-round outings include hiking, biking, caving, rock climbing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, geocaching, kayaking, and more!
We also bring the Banff Mountain Film Festival to Pittsburgh each year and present our annual free and open-to-the-public Venture Outdoors Festival each May at Point State Park.
Each May through October, we also operate two Kayak Pittsburgh locations (North Park and North Shore) renting kayaks, bikes, and more to the public.
