Hello my name is mark bey. I and others in the community are working on an initiative to clean up in Ward 7 Washington D.C.http://www.acleanerward7.org/home/what-the-a-cleaner-ward-7-initiative-is-all-about/
We are currently planning some spring and summer activities which include adopt the block community clean ups. We would also like to develop an adopt a spot to clean up program in our area of the citiy as well.
We would like to figure out a way to create a really fun and exciting adopt the block campaign to work in conjunction with what we are already doing. http://www.acleanerward7.org/home/joining-officer-medina-for-litter-enforcement-month-in-washington-d-c/
An adopt the block program is the type in which people/volunteers from the community make a commitment to cleaning up a specific area for a certain amount of time. We are going to try various ideas in order to make this anti-litter initiative successful.
If you are a creative type in the community development area please reach out to us we could use some help.
