Ward 7 Washington D.CWashington, DC 20019

Hello my name is Mark Bey of a cleaner ward 7 we need a female singer to record an anti-litter song for us to use in our promos advertising our clean ups and other promotional material for our initiative to clean up in Ward 7.

Here is a Demo uploaded to you tube ( ) of the song we will be using. Its me singing and playing the guitar which I have no business doing but I had no other way to demonstrate the feel of the song.

A volunteer guitar player has upgraded it and we are now ready to record with a female singer who can get into a jazzy/blues feeling. We would like to work with a female on this project because the origninal song this song is adapted from is a jazz song written for a female.

Those interested can send video or an mp3 of themselves singing from their smartphone to me at I dont need actual video of the person only a sample of thier singing, or rather the video dosent need to show the person.

If you know of anyone who would like to participate in a project such as this please pass along this information. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have posted the lyrics to the song that will be recorded below.

I know that by working together we can bring the change we need

But it’s up to us to make a difference and serve as inspiration for everyone

Our world is precious and it sustains us we’ve only got one world

So let’s cherish it and take care of it so the next generation can enjoy it.

How do we improve the places we live?

If I do my part is there more you can give

Let’s all be proactive and innovative

Let’s develop a plan then all chip in.

Let’s decrease waste and live more efficient.

Act with all haste for the environment.

Let’s all get together to improve where were living.

It wouldn't take much if it was a bunch of us to make our efforts seen.

So let’s put our waste in its proper places Lets keeps our parks and rivers a sacred space.

Cigarette buts end up in fish stomachs when we throw trash on the ground
