Hospice volunteering is simply doing what you'd do for a friend. Emotional and practical support for patients and their families through friendship, companionship, caregiver break, one-on-one acoustic music or singing, painting for memory stimulation, recording a life story, reading...giving a pat on the back...just listening...or quietly keeping someone company just because they're important. You'd be surprised how even the smallest things, offered in friendship, can improve the lives of patients and the people who love them.
We have online orientation for your convenience and we will support you every step of the way. Volunteer opportunities for adults and student service-learning projects. Flexible: an hour or two a month at minimum, we work with your schedule!
We have virtual opportunities that you can do from the convenience of your home!
