Alpha Omega Hospice

You know how to do this. Hospice volunteering is simply doing what you'd do for a friend. Emotional and practical support for patients and their families through friendship, companionship, caregiver break, one-on-one acoustic music or singing, painting for memory stimulation, recording a life story, a pat on the back...just listening...or quietly keeping someone company just because they're important. You'd be surprised how even the smallest things, offered in friendship, can improve the lives of patients and the people who love them. We'll give you a through orientation so you'll know what to expect and what to do. Then we'll support you every step of the way as you support them. Volunteer opportunities for adultsand student service-learning projects. Flexible: an hour or two a week (full-time students twice a month), weekdays or weekends.
