Mission Statement
The Richmond Tool Lending Library is a free service that lends building, landscaping, and artistic tools to Richmond residents with the goal of providing more opportunities to be self-sufficient, independent, and curious. The Richmond Tool Lending Library provides a space for community members to take on creative and ambitious projects, to become even prouder of their city and community, and to reconstruct the way outsiders view this city. Together we build a sense of community by working collaboratively with neighbors on projects and by joining forces with the city towards a shared vision. Through this resource we reinforce local resilience and collective ownership of this beautiful city by the bay.
Description
The Richmond Tool Lending Library is a public library for Richmond residents. It will provide a range of home improvement tools, artistic tools and gardening/landscaping tools to anyone that owns a library card in Richmond.
