Hunger Task Force and Pick & Save grocery store have partnered to bring a Fresh Mobile Grocery Store into neighborhoods where healthy foods are not easily attainable.
There are 33-36 stops in the Milwaukee County area each month. Hunger Task Force is looking for 3 volunteers per site. You would be helping the shoppers into the market (there are 3 stairs in and 3 stairs out), answering questions and maybe shopping for anyone not able to go into the market themselves.
Each shift time is 90 minutes and it is a great way to give back to your community and help some of our "food desert" neighborhoods live healthier.
