ORGANIZATION: Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities

  • 7 people are interested

SOUP is a group of awesome adults with developmental disabilities who are interested in creating awareness within the community. We want others to know that we have much to contribute! We are focused on advocacy, networking and community outreach. We have some wonderful staff members who provide support, but we are interested in including a few volunteers who may be able to help us, too.

Volunteers can help us: network; create flyers for events; plan events; help us become better at public speaking; coordinate service projects; help people who can't read or write participate in the conversation; share their ideas and so much more.

We currently meet from 10:30-1:30 or 6-8pm one weekday per month in Garfield Heights. Our members come from all over Cuyahoga County.

Providing a ride to a member to and from the meeting is another way you can be of service. We currently have someone in Rocky River that would really like to attend but needs a ride.
