Are you passionate about driving kids toward high paying, in-demand careers or connecting school to work? Are you passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education or STEM careers? If you also have a sense of humor, a sense of wonder, and little time to give each month, then Edheads is the place for you! Edheads is a 501c3 non-profit organization that ties K-12 classroom curricula to real world challenges and careers by providing free games (with cartoon characters) to teachers, students and parents. We also host events that connect STEM professionals with families. We are looking for a college graduate with 3-5 years work experience (or more) to be on our Board Directors while also helping us by: polling volunteers to determine how to improve communication and job satisfaction; supervising volunteers that assist with events, content development, and many other tasks; determining best ways to acknowledge and thank volunteers; as well as planning ways to expand and improve the program. Excellent networking and communication skills needed. Must be well organized and live in or near Columbus, Ohio. We ask 4-6 hours of your time a month.

On Edheads' site, students can be surgeons, manufacturing technicians, find simple machines, predict the weather, create a stem cell line and more!
