Interns receive hands-on training in non-profit business management in an award-winning theater arts and community service organization. The interns' primary responsibility is to manage the daily administrative operations of the organization and to take a leadership role in programming initiatives. There will be opportunities to work closely with the Senior Staff in administrating and producing on-going classes and workshops for professional actors and community programs that serve homeless children and Youth-at-Risk. Under the supervision
of the ATW staff, interns will be accountable for the completion of projects in management of ATW's studio rental business, theater administration, team management, marketing, development, sales, fund-raising, video production, event planning, graphic design as well as the daily operations of the organization.
Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit conservatory theatre committed to training actors, writers and directors and developing new work for the stage and film. ATW is also a highly regarded community service organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of homeless children and the community at large.
