Tutor Kindergarten thorugh 2nd grade students one-on-one in their after school literacy program!
Help students build their academic confidence through fun literacy games and activities designed to reinforce their daytime learning!
We provide a tutor training and ongoing support for our volunteers!

Description
Because 3rd grade reading ability is such a strong predictor of high school graduation rates, Super Stars Literacy partners with schools in low-income communities to provide at-risk K-2nd grade students with comprehensive literacy intervention programming, helping them build the literacy and social skills that are the foundation for future learning. The SSL program consists of 1) daily after-school literacy and social-emotional skill developmet, 2) in-school reading support coordinated with the students' school-day teachers, and 3) family engagement activities designed to help parents support their child's reading development and connect families to the school.
