THE BIG FLOAT VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
All volunteers will get 1 food voucher and 2 beverage tickets as a thank you for donating your valuable time to help this great cause! Shifts will be about 4 hours.
Event Set-up: Assist with setting up the event (ie: hanging signs, moving tables, putting linens on tables, helping set up the bar etc).
Route Chalkers: Help chalk the parade route with fun and colorful art.
Registration: Check in floaters, make sure waivers are signed, take payments.
Kids Play Area: Assist kiddos with the crafts we provide
Life Jacket Decoration Station: Assist people in decorating their floats and life jackets. Keep area clean and accessible.
Valuables Check-in: Help floaters check in their valuables and bags.
VIP Tent Monitor: Assist with maintaining the vip tent and bar area. Ensure that only VIPs are allowed entrance.
Tube inflation assistance: Help floaters pump up their tubes with our generator powered pump.
Slip n' Slide Monitor: help kids have a fun, safe experience.
Event assistance: help with various task such as trash removal, line management and fill in where needed.
Kayak Armada (need Canoes, Kayaks, Crew Teams and Dragon Boaters)
Water volunteers will receive a limited edition TBF shirt!
Flyer Distribution prior to event: Help us spread the word in your neighborhood. Use your work printer to help us make color copies!
