The Center for Enrichment offers educational, wellness and spiritual programing for the mature adult learners in the community. The program is in search of volunteers who are interested in sharing their talents and knowledge with others.
If you have a talent in photography or are a history buff, give us a call! We are looking for people who can teach photography, advanced drawing, watercolor, foreign languages, history, science, literature, internet technology, pyschology and other social sciences, physics, and current events. You need not be a certified teacher; just have the passion and ability to share your knowledge with a group of enthused lifelong learners.
The scheduling of a volunteer's time is based on their availability. An average class is structured to meet one day a week for a six-week period on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Classes normally run for 50 per session. Other sessions run between being a one-time lecture to meeting for 2-4 times during a six-week period.
