If you are looking for an exciting volunteer opportunity this is the one for you. The Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired is in need of volunteer assistance in our Instructional Resource Center. The center is responsible for producing educational materials for our visually impaired students in the Delaware school system. The role of the volunteer will be to assist in the production of these materials at the center.
Volunteers have the option to pick from a wide variety of projects while volunteering with us. These projects include production of Large Print resources, the creation of electronic PDF materials, narrative recordings, Braille production, database maintenance, client assiatance, and other ongoing projects as needed. Training will be provided
We also provide incentives for volunteering such as school/internship credit, recommedation letters, the chance to be nominated for awards, and networking opportunities. This is a great opportunity for people of all age ranges.
