About

The Division for the Visually Impaired Education Staff needs energetic volunteers to help in our Instuctional Resource Center. The Instructional Resource Center is responsible for producing Braille, Large Print and PDF materials for the entire State of Delaware. These materials are then given to our visually impaired students in the public school systems. With a limited staff, we rely on help from volunteers to insure these materials are produced and given to the students who need them most.

If you would like to learn new skills, this is the opportunity for you. Onsite training will be provided and volunteers are encouraged to work at their own pace. We also provide incentives for volunteering such as school/internship credit, recommedation letters, and networking opportunities. This is a great opportunity for people of all age ranges. Parking is provided.
