Mission Statement

Uniqkid is a 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to provide quality social skills programs to the special needs community. Our programs help children, youth and young adults develop the skills they need for future success. At Uniqkid, we offer interactive programming which utilizes arts and science, academics, sports and holistic alternative approaches. Our goal is to engage youth with special needs with personalized programming to help them reach their maximum potential.

Description

Uniqkid, Inc. is a Brooklyn based non-profit organization dedicated to providing integrated programming to the special needs community and their families. The organization was co-founded in December 2013, by Anton Revich and Karina Burman, both of whom have many years of direct work experience with autistic children and youth.

The organization’s founding partners have developed specialized programs which are multi-tiered and synergistic. Their programs are virtually connected through digital tracking and this feature allows the staff to monitor progress and generate reports. When funding is complete, the center will feature a specialized gym, interactive rooms designed to improve fine and gross motor skills and host recreational programs.

In an effort to provide support for families, the organization will offer additional services and training for parents. These sessions will include, but are not limited to, guest speakers, informational meetings, legal consults, and recommended guidelines from nutritionists, psychologists and therapists.
