Fundraising Coordinator/Intern

Overview:

Assist the development team with coordinating and ensuring the successful implementation of "giving day" campaigns (ex. Giving Tuesday, Birdies for Charity) via social media platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Constant Contact, etc...

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the p reparation of effective marketing strategies
• Work in partnership with the development staff to achieve the organization's fundraising goal
• Use advanced networking skills to identify suitable fundraising opportunities that will aid in increasing donor giving
• Accurately monitor fundraising progress and produce quality reports when necessary
• Contribute to promotional articles and publications to raise awareness of the Center's work and the organization’s aims
• Contribute to the Center's communication strategy (in relation to fundraising) as needed

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Fundraising or other related fields (candidate may be currently seeking degree)
• Proficient knowledge in MicroSoft Excel and Word
• Familiarity with Constant Contact a plus
• Experience organizing and contributing to events highly preferred
• Strong project management skills
• A demonstrated level of drive whether working as an individual or as part of a team
• Good report writing skills
• An understanding of budgets
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail Oriented
• Interest and commitment to agency mission
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality
